Lessons learned from “Atomic Habits” and applied in my tech Learning Journey.

Late last year, I started a habit of reading books, and Atomic Habits by James Clear is one of the few books I have been reading and it’s a game-changer. Here are a few key lessons that resonated with me in my tech journey:
Tiny Changes, Remarkable Results: The power of small habits is incredible. By making tiny adjustments consistently, we can achieve remarkable results over time. It’s not about radical changes; it’s about the daily habits that compound.
The 1% Better Rule: Striving to improve by just 1% each day might seem insignificant, but it compounds into substantial progress. Whether in personal or professional life, consistent growth, no matter how small, leads to extraordinary outcomes.
Identity-Based Habits: Instead of focusing solely on the goal, shift your attention to the type of person you want to become. Your habits should align with your identity. As James Clear says, “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”
The Importance of Environment: Our surroundings play a pivotal role in shaping our habits. Design your environment to make good habits easy and bad habits difficult. Small changes in your space can have a profound impact on your behavior.
Habit Stacking: Linking a new habit with an established one creates a powerful routine. It helps in building consistency and makes it easier to incorporate new behaviors seamlessly into your daily life.
Highly recommend “Atomic Habits” to anyone looking to enhance their habits and create positive, lasting change. It helped me in my coding journey and I was able to develop a coding lifestyle through consistency.
